I'm an immigrant and a cybersecurity researcher working at the intersection of security and AI safety. We're living through one of the biggest shifts in human history, and AI is a tool like every tool before it, a piece of us cast into the world, only far more powerful. My mission is to keep it steerable and in human hands: to build the defenses that keep these systems trustworthy, and to help keep the door open to people from every background, so the future we build stays coherent enough to include us all.
